SITE is focused in 2023 on intensifying partnerships and strategic relationships with a number of organizations, both within the business events industry and in the business world at large.
Partnering with other MICE industry and media resources will help ensure SITE remains future-ready, and signals the addition of new value for SITE members.
To this end, SITE has signed a partnership agreement with MPI and recently participated in their European Meetings & Events Conference (EMEC) in Brighton, UK. SITE CEO Annette Gregg joined a power plenary panel with Mark Cooper (IACC) and Paul Van Deventer (MPI), while CMO Pádraic Gilligan delivered a session on Trends in the Incentive Travel Industry to a packed room.
SITE has secured similar partnerships with other industry associations, including Destinations International (DI). Our existing partnership with MPI and IAEE, branded as the Global MICE Collaborative, is also being revived following a pandemic-induced pause; and we’ll be fielding the 2023 edition of the Incentive Travel Index and deepening our relationship this year with the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF).
Helping us spread SITE’s story too are key media partners. We’re working this year with well-known industry outlets such as Haymarket Media Group, Mash Media and Northstar Meetings Group.
With Northstar, we’re especially proud of our collaboration on their new emerging leaders event, and for the chance to work with the Northstar team to help shape our own Young Leaders Conference in October.
To reach a wider business audience, SITE has also just signed with a wide-ranging partnership deal with Sales & Marketing Management (SMM). This relationship will take SITE’s work beyond our industry to the world of sales and marketing decision-makers: executives who oversee firms’ reward and motivational strategies. SITE leaders will be featured in upcoming focus reports produced by SMM, as well as in regular multimedia digital content their team produces.
We look forward to these future opportunities to grow the reach and continued effectiveness of incentive travel, and are eager to support one another through these new connections.
