As part of our ongoing mission to support professional development within the incentive travel industry, SITE Foundation is launching a new academic scholarship, aimed at assisting a member of SITE with a course of their choice at a recognized third level university or institution.

This one-time payment of $5,000 USD (or currency equivalent) will be awarded to a member of SITE (including student and emerging professionals, as well as professional members) undertaking a higher education course at a recognized university or institution in 2024.

The scholarship may be awarded to a SITE member whose studies are already in progress (and due to be completed in 2025 or later) or to a member who has been accepted into a program that commences later in 2024.

Two scholarships will be awarded in 2024.

How to Apply:

Complete scholarship application form (see below) and submit along with your 1000 – 1500 word essay on the topic:

• What motivates you to strive for excellence in your education/career? 
• What is your dream incentive travel program?
• Describe what sparked your interest in the subject/career you are planning to pursue.

Applications open on April 2, 2024

Applications close on May 21, 2024

Requirements:

1. You must join SITE or be a current member
2. You must have a degree and / or a high school / secondary school diploma (proof will be required)
3. You must have a current / pending enrolment in a university / higher education institution (proof will be required)

How are Recipients Chosen?

Entries are reviewed anonymously by a volunteer committee and evaluated based on the strength of the essay submission, clear proof of eligibility, academic achievements, and educational goals.

Applications close May 21 and applicants will be notified regarding status in late June 2024.
