Commenting on Jim’s passing, SITE president Aoife Delaney, CIS, CITP said: “Jim’s commitment to SITE was lifelong. He served two periods on our international board of directors and was a serial donor to SITE Foundation. A true thought-leader in all senses of the word, our industry benefitted enormously from Jim’s boundless creativity, insight and panache as an entrepreneur and agency-owner. I’m privileged to have served on SITE’s IBOD alongside Jim. As we say in Ireland Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis / May his sweet soul be on God’s right hand side”.
President of SITE Foundation, Terry Manion, CIS, CITP added: “SITE Foundation is indebted to Jim and his family for their outstanding support over the years. Jim was a truly brilliant incentive travel professional who understood the essence of reward, recognition and motivation, building his own hugely successful incentive house business in the process. However, he also understood the need to give back to the industry that fostered his success and generously supported SITE Foundation’s important work in research, education and advocacy. We’ll miss Jim greatly but are consoled by the fact that Shelby and Lindsay, his daughters, will ensure his legacy remains.”
Jim’s daughter Lindsay was in touch to share details of visitation and memorial: “Friends may call from 4pm-8pm Tuesday, August 10, 2021 and from 10am-12pm Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Connor Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will begin at 12pm following Wednesday’s calling. For full information you can visit his memorial website: https://flannerbuchanan.com/obit/james-t-adams/
SITE’s global family extends our deepest condolences to Jim’s wife, Carol, known to so many of us, to his daughters, Shelby and Lindsay, to his extended family and to his many, many clients, colleagues, suppliers and friends all over the world.
