SITE proudly closed out its 50th anniversary celebrations this week with SITE DAY.

Taking place December 4, the day served as a marker of the exact date 50 years ago when SITE’s founding members met in New York City in 1973 for the association’s first meeting at the Americana Hotel.

Jumping back to the present, hundreds of SITE members and friends joined us online for a few hours of conversations hosted via Braindate. It was an excellent way to exchange ideas around trending topics like AI, shifting workplace demographics, sustainability, and new research. Even more important, attendees enjoyed the chance to reinforce old industry friendships while making new connections, too.  

At the end of SITE DAY, outgoing SITE President Kevin Edmunds joined past president and resident SITE historian Fay Beauchine to reflect on what exactly made the day so special.
