As just some of this year’s highlights:
- We started 2023 with record-high Global Conference attendance in New York City, with 750 of us celebrating in the city where SITE was founded.
- Our chapters have held nearly 150 events, and we welcomed SITE Arabia and SITE Northern California as new additions late this year.
- We’ve held educational sessions across more than 25 conferences and webinars, and expanded partnerships with several global associations and media organizations.
- We launched a new LearnHub and redesigned our signature CIS and CITP certifications.
- SITE Foundation raised over $25,000 in relief funds for Türkiye and Maui, in addition to investing over $100,000 in our community for scholarships, education and research.
- Finally, we are ending 2023 with a record-high membership of nearly 2,700 individuals.
All of this wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the SITE global team, and the volunteer leadership of our boards.
I’d especially like to thank outgoing SITE President Kevin Edmunds and Foundation President Hamish Reid for their strategic guidance during my first year with SITE.
Thank you also to our Head of Chapters Rebecca Wright for her leadership and contributions, as she departs SITE later this month.
On December 4th, we celebrated SITE Day with a community meet-up on Braindate. There were hundreds of participants from all over the world engaged in dozens of conversations.
I listened in on passionate conversations around diversity and belonging, business case for incentives, mental wellness and so many other powerful topics.
I’m not only encouraged by how our community supports each other, but thrilled for the future of incentive travel.
Our industry outlook is extremely positive, reinforcing the importance of incentive travel programs in celebrating human achievement. You create experiences that celebrate others — what an incredible gift.
All of us here at SITE wish you a joy-filled, peaceful holiday season.
Please note: The SITE offices will be closed December 25 - January 1, returning January 2.
