  • The Ambitious Leader: 4 Unspoken Strategies that Align Purpose, Hustle and Success

    Keynote: Courtney Stanley

The secrets to building a successful, fulfilling career are best discovered through self-awareness development, creating purposeful influence from the inside-out. Embracing and scaling these four core skills will take your career to the next level: authenticity, confidence, influence and resilience. This highly interactive presentation will guide you through thought-provoking exercises that will empower you to clarify what drives - and deters - your success, verbalize your value and amplify your influence, and strategically communicate your message in a way that’s impactful, authentic, and effective.

  • The 7 Simple Habits of Inclusive Leaders

    Keynote: Melissa Majors

What do inclusive leaders do? What specific actions do they take to demonstrate a commitment to inclusion? Inclusive leadership expert Melissa Majors is an innovator and optimizer of inclusion, leadership, and education strategies. In The 7 Habits of Inclusive Leaders, she reveals how great leaders enjoy superior team performance and drive much higher profitability by incorporating inclusive practices. These behaviors fall into seven categories: Business Process, Collaboration, Mindset, Leading Self and Others, Decisions, Values, Empathy Majors delivers clarity on how our brains are to blame for why leaders unintentionally exclude others. Through storytelling, research, and personal experiences, she offers a common-sense yet compelling and actionable approach to inclusion. She argues that people shouldn't feel guilty or defensive when having inclusion-related conversations; the brain is to blame, not people. This discussion is for all leaders; leaders of self, people, initiatives, and organizations.

Here’s what one Young Leader had to say about the conference:

“Setting aside our precious time is never easy, but when such a great opportunity arises, it is worth it! Attendees get to experience a stellar combination of networking opportunities with each other and with recognized industry leaders, keynote speakers, and innovative sessions that draw on the experience of being a young professional. With these new connections and education opportunities, I found that my passion for the MICE industry was reignited.”
