The SITE Spanish & Portuguese Chapter brings together Incentive Travel industry professionals. They include corporate clients, hotels, airlines, DMCs, venues, convention bureaus and all providers part of the incentive travel value chain.

SITE Spain & Portugal is committed to sustainability, continuing education, innovation and the importance of exchanging ideas at a global level in an industry that adds value to companies and destinations as well as being key in the distribution of wealth and the sustainable development of destinations.

Our events: education and connection

At SITE Spain & Portugal we provide educational events throughout the Spanish territory that provide professional growth to our members and which are intended to develop into forums for discussions, platforms for creative exchanges and knowledge sharing. Thanks to the contribution of our members, sponsors and collaborators, we are able to support new talent with a targeted program for Young Leaders that helps them prepare for the future of incentive events.

There are several reasons why being a member of SITE is a step forward in the professional careers of our members, but if there is one that stands out, it is the sense of community. The professional certifications offered by SITE (CIS, CITP) which are part of the association's continuous training program, the Annual Conference that brings together the elite of the incentive events industry, and the hundreds of events that are held throughout the world, where all members are welcome to attend, is a source of inspiration, exchange and camaraderie.

SITE has been part of my life for 25 years now. I started as a “Young Leader” when there was no category for it. Being a SITE member has allowed me to connect with many wonderful professionals from different cultures and countries, building long lasting friendships and business networks, sharing knowledge and challenges, attending Site Global Conference for first class education and fun networking, sitting together in exams to get our certifications, working together at the Board of Site Spain & Portugal and volunteering on an International level serving different committees.

President's message

Dear members,

As we embark on a new chapter in our journey, I am thrilled to announce that we have officially become SITE SPAIN & PORTUGAL. This exciting merger opens up a world of possibilities for us, and we are brimming with enthusiasm for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Our chapter has experienced extraordinary growth over the past 2 years, now surpassing 70 members. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Board members and Committee Members, whose tireless efforts have propelled us forward.

In 2024, our goals are ambitious, but keeping sustainability at the center of our agenda. Promoting environmentally respectful practices and initiatives within the MICE industry.

I also want to emphasize the importance of active participation within our community. Engaging with fellow members and chapter leaders not only enriches your journey but also fosters lifelong global relationships, both professionally and personally. As longstanding members of SITE, I encourage each of you to seize the opportunity to contribute and stay connected.
