What do you enjoy doing outside of your new role with SITE?
Q: What are you looking forward to the most, as you get to know the SITE community?
A: I am looking forward to developing new communication skills, gaining valuable experiences and making meaningful connections.
I am excited about using my experience with volunteer groups to help SITE members take full advantage of their membership by joining and collaborating with other individuals in the industry to influence the future of incentive travel.
Q: What’s been your most meaningful or impactful experience as a volunteer yourself?
A: Starting an organization at my university with my friends and volunteering with different youth groups, homeless shelters, and putting together events with other organizations that helped and connected different communities.
I really enjoy volunteering and helping others. The impact this had on myself and the community has been rewarding and memorable in both my personal and professional life. I have learned to communicate on another level and build on my customer service skills.
Q: From your perspective, how can SITE successfully help members build meaningful connections and relationships?
A: I think that continuing to offer different engagement opportunities allows members to always build new and meaningful connections and relationships. Conferences and volunteer groups provide networking, educational, and skill development opportunities.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of your new role with SITE?
A: Outside of my new role with SITE, I love to cook. In my spare time. I sometimes watch cooking videos on TikTok and YouTube and recreate the meals I've never tried before. I try to make at least one dish from a culture outside my own.
I also enjoy traveling spending time with my family. The majority of my family lives in Florida and Jamaica so I like to take advantage of any free time I get and visit them.
Q: Can you share a fun or surprising fact SITE members might enjoy learning about you?
A: I am very creative and artistic. I love to draw, paint, design, and do pretty much anything with my hands where I can experiment with different techniques and materials.
I also have a 3-year-old toy poodle named Pucci and a 10-year-old leopard tortoise named Roxanne!
