SITE Foundation has announced the newest recipients of its Global Conference Scholarships, presented each year to select members with a special focus on designating several awards for Young Leaders and SITE Chapter Leaders.
Originally created in memory of SITE Past President David Riddell, each year’s Global Conference Scholarships provide opportunities for more members to join the wider SITE community at SITE’s hallmark event.
This year’s nine recipients include:
- Giulia Gentile (member of SITE Italy affiliate)
- Glenn McCormack (member of SITE Ireland)
- Sarah McDonald (member of SITE Australia & New Zealand)
- Krzysztof “Kris” Michniewicz (member of SITE Poland)
- Gary Murakami (member of SITE Northern California)
- Ridho Ramadhan (member of SITE Thailand)
- Harsh Sodhani (member of SITE Great Britain)
- Elizabeth Soucy (member of SITE Florida & Caribbean)
- Heike Strohmann (member of SITE France)
“Having such a range of global voices present at Global Conference helps us deliver a stronger, more inclusive conference, which benefits all of our members and friends,” said Annette Gregg, CEO of SITE & SITE Foundation. “It has been incredibly heartening to see SITE Foundation expand its grant and scholarship programs this year, with this presentation of a record number of scholarships a perfect way to cap off these efforts.”
“All of our work is powered by the generosity of our industry” added 2025 SITE Foundation President Rhonda Brewer. “We have been able to successfully grow SITE Foundation’s impact because of direct support by members and friends. I want to sincerely and deeply thank everyone who has made a donation or supported SITE Foundation in other ways this year.”
All winning essays are available to read on SITE’s blog, also powered by SITE Foundation.
The 2026 Global Conference will take place from February 12-15 in Abu Dhabi. Applications will then open in the second half of 2026 for 2027 Global Conference Scholarships.
