For over 40 years, MC&A has stood at the forefront of Hawaiʻi’s destination management and event planning industry.
With deep roots in the islands and a forward-thinking approach to hospitality, MC&A has earned its reputation as the go-to partner for unforgettable experiences in the Aloha State. What sets MC&A apart is its longevity, its unique blend of experience, company culture, and a profound respect for Hawaiʻi’s rich cultural heritage. This approach has allowed the company to thrive locally and expand into new markets.
Since 1985, MC&A has grown alongside Hawaiʻi’s tourism industry, evolving while staying true to its core values. The company’s extensive experience means it brings a level of unmatched professionalism, logistical expertise, and creative vision. Whether orchestrating a large-scale corporate incentive trip, citywide convention, or a curated VIP event, MC&A’s team delivers with precision and aloha.
At the heart of MC&A’s success is its company culture, one that emphasizes creativity, collaboration, integrity, and a deep sense of kuleana (responsibility) to both clients and the community. The team is composed of passionate hospitality professionals, many of whom are kamaʻāina (local residents) with a personal connection to the islands. This internal culture fosters a spirit of excellence and authenticity that resonates in every event and experience the company creates.
Equally important is MC&A’s unwavering appreciation for Hawaiian and local culture. The company works closely with local artisans and businesses, cultural practitioners, and community members to ensure that every event is respectful and rooted in the traditions of the islands. From incorporating Hawaiian language and protocol to supporting local businesses and sustainability efforts, MC&A is committed to honoring the place it calls home.
This foundation of experience and cultural respect has not only solidified MC&A’s leadership in Hawaiʻi but also enabled strategic expansion into other travel-related areas such as the cruise industry. MC&A provides seamless shore excursions and guest services that reflect the same high standards and cultural sensitivity as our group business.
Additionally, MC&A offers a dedicated brand for Free and Independent Travelers (FIT) through Diamond Head Vacations, which provides high-quality tours and activities across the Hawaiian Islands. Supporting this effort is HawaiianIslesConcierge.com, the brand’s online platform that allows travelers to easily browse and book curated experiences. Through this digital presence, MC&A extends its signature service to a broader audience, making it easier than ever for visitors to explore Hawaii with confidence and care. Whether booking a traditional luau, a private snorkeling tour, or a guided hike through a lush rainforest, guests can trust that each experience has been thoughtfully selected and vetted by local experts.
With these company values at its core, MC&A has extended its special brand of hospitality to the U.S. Mainland, servicing California, Las Vegas, Arizona, Texas, New Orleans, and Florida. In each of these destinations, MC&A brings the same respect for local culture and commitment to working with community experts, ensuring every experience is as authentic and memorable as those created in the islands. From the biggest picture to the smallest detail, MC&A delivers quality.
