SITE is seeking an organized and detail-oriented event specialist to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of our global events portfolio. This role will handle a wide range of responsibilities, including coordinating event logistics, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, event communications, assisting with in-kind partnerships, ensuring smooth event execution, and post-event analysis.
Seeking 2025 “Beyond Borders” hosts
We’re looking for SITE members interested in hosting a 2025 “Beyond Borders” virtual event. We’ll provide the platform, you provide the content! Any SITE member, at any career stage, is welcome to apply. Hosting provides a chance to build virtual facilitation, public speaking, and content creation skills. Cvent surveyed over 500 event professionals in North America, and here’s what we learned.
Meetings and events remain key for collaboration and relationship-building. Even though planners and venues agree that the current economic climate affects the entire meetings and events industry, the future of events is secure.
Across the survey, we saw one recurring theme: Planners need more time and resources, so they rely more on technology for venue sourcing. Hotels and venues must provide even more information upfront to help planners decide which space is the right fit for their event.
