At SITE Classic, I had the privilege of interviewing Taylor Smith, a journalist at Meetings Today and the author of its recurring column “The Z: Planning for the Industry’s Next Generation.” Taylor is the same age as my son — 23 — so I was eager to continue unlocking the mysteries of this dynamic generation and get a few of my own opinions across in the process.

A final note
As we come to the end of one season and prepare for autumn in some places and spring in others, we wanted to briefly reflect on the often-tragic consequences of a warming world, with climate change impacting every corner of the planet this year.
While SITE has recently issued statements on deadly floods in Slovenia (host of this year’s Incentive Summit Europe) and the wildfires in West Maui, we’re increasingly aware of the need to mitigate our impacts to remain responsible travel professionals.
We welcome support, input, and feedback from our entire community as we continue to chart the best course that preserves the transformational power of incentive travel while also carving out a more sustainable future for future generations of incentive professionals.
