Highlights from SITE Global Conference 2026
Each year, the SITE Global Conference brings together incentive travel and events professionals from around the world. From sustainability-led programs to new partnerships born from a single conversation, this year’s event showcased how collaboration and creativity are shaping the future of the industry. Here are some standout stories that demonstrate what’s possible when the industry comes together with purpose.
TAM Travel Corporation puts sustainability at the center in Costa Rica
TAM Travel Corporation shared highlights from the Schneider Electric President’s Club 2025 program in Costa Rica, showing how high-end incentive experiences can be delivered while staying aligned with ambitious sustainability goals.
Designed in close partnership with Schneider Electric, the program focused on practical choices that reduced impact across operations, event design, and guest touchpoints. As a CST Elite-certified DMC, TAM embedded sustainability into planning, supplier selection, and on-site delivery.
One of the most tangible initiatives connected carbon action to the guest experience. As part of the welcome amenity, guests received custom towels, and 110 trees were planted in a protected reforestation reserve. Each contribution was formally certified, creating a clear link between participation and positive environmental outcomes.
Sustainability was also built into production. Signage was intentionally minimized, then produced using biodegradable and recyclable materials, including cardboard directional signage at airports and hotels. Printing was reduced wherever possible, especially in shared transport spaces. Event environments used living plants rather than cut flowers, with potted trees and native species replanted after use. Reclaimed natural materials, including coffee tree branches pruned during routine agricultural maintenance, were repurposed into culturally relevant design elements. A strict zero single-use plastic policy, reusable items, staff training, and waste reduction protocols completed an approach that balanced experience with measurable responsibility.
From a conference conversation to a UK partnership: Mundus Representation and Senator DMC
A clear example of a conference connection turning into long-term business came from a partnership story that began at SITE Global Conference 2024 in Turkey.
There, Andre Van Der Bijl, Managing Director of Mundus Representation, met Martin Lehký, owner of Senator DMC. What started as a simple conversation developed over the following two years into a professional relationship built on trust, shared standards, and a mutual focus on quality delivery.
In Abu Dhabi, the day before the 2026 conference began, the relationship reached a major milestone when Senator DMC officially joined the Mundus family. Mundus has been contracted as Senator’s dedicated representation company, supporting Senator’s presentation and growth within the UK MICE sector.
The announcement underlines the value of relationship building within SITE and the return that can come from following through after the event. As Andre noted, “SITE brings together people who speak the same language of excellence.” It is a reminder that some of the most meaningful partnerships start between sessions, then grow through consistent collaboration.
MM and company marks 30 years with three new DMC signings
MM and Company, established in 1996 by hotel veteran David J. Marks, is marking its 30th anniversary by expanding its portfolio with three experienced DMC partners.
The new signings strengthen MM and Company’s ability to support clients seeking dependable, on-the-ground delivery across key European destinations. The additions are:

Alongside the new partners, MM and Company confirmed the continuation of long-standing representation agreements with C Florida Hospitality, Blue DMC Turkey, and The EPIC Group DMC Mexico. Some of these relationships date back to 1997, reinforcing the company’s focus on consistency and sustained performance.
David J. Marks shared that the year has started strongly, with renewed agreements and new representation wins demonstrating continued momentum. For buyers, the message is clear. MM and Company is entering its next chapter with a mix of trusted long-term partners and expanded destination capability, supporting confident planning and reliable delivery across markets.
