Andaré is a new search engine built specifically for the incentive group travel industry. Planners can find all major luxury hotels around the globe, along with a sample of activities that groups can enjoy close to these hotels in incentive destinations.
Users can even search by destinations to find highlights, airport information and sample itineraries for over 120 locales worldwide. Filters are available to sort by hotel brand, activities in the area, or by destination type such as Mountain, Golf, Winery.
Shirley Hutchins developed the site after working in the industry for over 30 years. She had always hoped to find a resource that would include hotel and destination information all in one place, at one’s fingertips, while on a call with a client, for example, and that is what she set out to do, launching the site in late 2020.
“Drawing on experience from years in the industry, on both the sourcing and hotel sides and with suggestions from fellow planners and hoteliers, I feel we have created a very comprehensive and intuitive site and we are finding others agree,” notes Hutchins. “Our main goal is for planners to offer, instantly, incentive industry information that in the past has taken hours or even days to gather. From the comments we have received from those using our site, we are on the right track.’
Quick access to vetted luxury hotels – all brands on one site
It is important that the hotels included on the site are those that planners will feel comfortable recommending. Therefore, only the luxury brands of hotel companies such as Marriott, Hyatt, Accor, IHG and Hilton are included along with renowned companies such as Belmond, Rosewood, Montage and Auberge. In addition to these, properties that have received accolades from Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast and collections such as Leading Hotels of the World and Relais & Chateaux are also included. There are so many outstanding hotels around the world, many of which are hidden gems. Andaré’s mission is to help planners find and recommend these, knowing that they have been vetted. Hotels do not pay to be included on the site, nor does Andaré receive commission.
Global DMC resources
To gather activity and venue information on incentive destinations, Andaré has partnered with highly respected destination management companies around the globe, relying on them to include information that will give planners a taste of their destination. DMCs do not provide a list of everything there is to do in the locale, but enough that users should be able to decide if the city or country warrants further research for their group.
Membership options:
NON-MEMBERS: Anyone can use Andaré. All hotels on the site are available to guests, as are a handful of activities and venues in the area. Websites for all hotels and DMCs are included on the site.
MEMBERS: For less than $30 per month members can see all activities, venues and sample itineraries. They can also reach out directly to each hotel’s sales team and send RFPs to DMCs. Private customized folders can be created into which they can save hotels, activities, venues and itineraries.
Whether you are sourcing now for a definite program or are looking for inspiration for future events, Andaré is a resource you will definitely want to check out.
