When you join SITE, you become a member of SITE’s global community of incentive travel professionals. Your membership is with SITE, not just your local chapter, giving you access to global benefits including research, education, certification opportunities, member resources, events and connections with SITE members around the world.

Your local SITE chapter is where you can activate your membership locally. Chapters bring the SITE experience to your region through networking, education, events, volunteering and leadership opportunities tailored to your local incentive travel community.

For example, if SITE Chicago is your local chapter, you’re not only connected to SITE Chicago — you’re a SITE member with access to both a global community and a strong local network.

When you purchase or renew your membership, you can choose to affiliate with one chapter as part of your membership. You can join more for an additional fee.

What are SITE chapters and affiliates?

SITE chapters and affiliates are local and regional communities that connect incentive travel professionals in markets around the world. They bring the global SITE community to a local level, providing opportunities to build relationships, participate in education and networking, contribute to the incentive travel industry and develop leadership skills.

What is the difference between a SITE chapter and a SITE affiliate?

SITE chapters are established in regions with 20 or more SITE members. They are led by a formal board, host regular events and provide structured opportunities for education, networking, volunteering and leadership.

SITE affiliates are designed for growing SITE communities in regions with 10–19 members. They offer a more flexible structure, bringing local incentive travel professionals together through gatherings, shared resources and opportunities to build their SITE community.

How many SITE chapters and affiliates are there?

SITE has 30 chapters and affiliates across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, connecting incentive travel professionals locally while providing access to SITE’s wider global community.

As SITE membership continues to grow around the world, new chapters and affiliates can be established in regions where there is sufficient local interest.

What are the benefits of getting involved with a SITE chapter or affiliate?

Getting involved locally gives SITE members more opportunities to make the most of their global membership. Through chapters and affiliates, members can:

Yes. If you move to a new region, you can update your primary chapter or affiliate through mySITE.
