NEW: Specialty Certs
SITE’s Specialty Certifications are designed to provide targeted continuing education on key topics relevant to the SITE community. Each specialty certification delivers focused, practical learning, allowing professionals to deepen their expertise in specific areas of incentive travel. Earning a specialty certification demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to apply specialized knowledge to enhance program strategy and execution.
CIS
The Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) is an entry-level certificate program, ideal for individuals who are new to the exciting world of incentive travel.
The curriculum covers the fundamentals of incentive program design, factors that motivate enhanced levels of performance, and the beneficial relationship between incentive travel and business outcomes. The CIS designation is awarded upon successful completion of an exam, which can be taken after enrolling in the CIS Online program.
CITP
The Certified Incentive Travel Professional (CITP) is a certification program specifically designed for mid-level management professionals in the incentive travel industry. A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience is required as part of the CITP recognition.
The CITP is relevant for planners of incentive travel experiences in corporations and agencies, as well as senior managers on the supplier side – DMOs, CVBs, DMCs, hotels, cruise companies, venues.
