What inspired you to apply for the 2026 SITE Global Conference Scholarship?
As a young leader, what inspired me to apply for the Global Conference was the opportunity to connect with and exchange ideas with professionals from different countries and cultural backgrounds. I was eager to gain fresh insights, broaden my perspective, and discover new approaches that could inspire both MU personal and professional growth.
How did attending the Global Conference impact your professional growth and expand your network?
The Global Conference gave me the opportunity to connect with young leaders and professionals from around the world. I strongly believe that exchanging ideas and embracing diverse perspectives is one of the most enriching experiences, both professionally and personally. Since Abu Dhabi, I have maintained relationships with many of the people I met there, and those connections have played a significant role in my growth and development within SITE.
What was your biggest takeaway or favorite experience from the conference?
The most meaningful takeaway from this experience was the value of connecting and sharing, learning from one another, supporting each other, and building lasting relationships. What’s more, in the amazing landscape of Abu Dhabi, these experiences were made even more memorable by the opportunity to immerse myself in such a fascinating country and its rich culture.
What would you say to a fellow SITE member who is considering applying for a 2027 scholarship?
Just do it and enjoy it.
